Amy Myers Jensen is an author, playwright, and music educator in New Jersey. She is the author of the Chuckie the Chocolate Lab Book Series. All of Jensen's books focus on social emotional learning and feature her famous dog, Chuckie the Chocolate Lab.  Chuckie has thousands of followers on Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok.

Amy has also co-written two shows with Landon Heimbach; a children's anti-bullying musical called "What's Your Favorite Color?" and a comedy play titled "Guess Who's Coming to Christmas". Amy received the Excellence in Education Recognition Award in 2012. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Westminster Choir College and her Master of Curriculum and Instruction degree from the American College of Education. She lives in Bridgewater, NJ with her husband Roger and their 3 beloved rescue dogs.
