Amy Myers Jensen is an award winning children's author, playwright, and music educator from New Jersey (Moms' Choice and Readers' Favorites Awards). All of the books in the Chuckie the Chocolate Lab book series focus on social emotional learning and feature her famous dog, Chuckie the Chocolate Lab.  Chuckie has thousands of followers on Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok and has been beloved around the world. Amy is available for author visits to schools and organization on a limited basis. Amy has also co-written two shows with Landon Heimbach; a children's anti-bullying musical called "What's Your Favorite Color?" and a comedy play titled "Guess Who's Coming to Christmas". Amy received the Excellence in Education Recognition Award in 2012. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Westminster Choir College and her Master of Curriculum and Instruction degree from the American College of Education. She lives in Bridgewater, NJ with her husband Roger and their 3 beloved rescue dogs.
