Amy Jensen is an author, playwright, and music educator in New Jersey. She has written three children's books collaborating with illustrator Ulana Zahajkewycz: Chuckie Makes Mistakes (Sometimes), Chuckie Has A Bellyache, and releasing in February 2022, Chuckie Says Goodbye. All of Jensen's books focus on social emotional learning and feature her famous dog Chuckie the Chocolate Lab!

In addition to writing books, Jensen has also co-written two shows with Landon Heimbach; a children's anti-bullying musical called "What's Your Favorite Color?" and a comedy play titled "Guess Who's Coming to Christmas". Amy received the Excellence in Education Recognition Award in 2012. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Westminster Choir College and her Master of Curriculum and Instruction degree from the American College of Education. She lives in Bridgewater, NJ with her husband Roger, their famous chocolate lab Chuckie and their new rescue dog, Bernie the Black Lab! Stay tuned for more about Bernie!
